David in his barn boots, playing with the dogs!

Here is the dog that will one day hopefully join our household.

This is a weimaraner. It's a Pointer dog, or hunting dog. I'm waiting for my brother's dog to have puppies, so I can get one too! So cute!

Our New Car

Here's our new car. We just purchased a 04 Dodge Stratus SXT. Its nice to have wheels again and extra space for our long legs! : )

The other morning I was driving home from the gym around 6:30 in the morning, and the sunrise was so beautiful. So I stopped the car and got out and took some pictures. God is so amazing!

Julie and I at Panera Bread. We were able to hang out with her and her fiance the other night, before she goes back to LA to graduate from College! It was the first time we saw each other since last year!

Jeremy and Julie, soon to be Horst. These are dear friends of our's that are going to be getting married on June 2nd! We are so excited for you guys, and we can't wait to share your BIG Day with you! Its going to be so much fun!

Gingerbread Houses at Tina's House

I got to be part of making gingerbread houses with the Gehman family & friends. Kristina's mom made the gingerbread and then had a example for us to work with to create our own houses. It was a lot of fun.

Kristina, my best friend..... us and our Gingerbread houses!

Kristina, Me, and Kristina's friend Audra. We were so proud of our houses! Below is pictures of the house I made!

Day with Drew

Jon went with his best friend Drew out near Pittsburg to catch Golden Eagles to study the placement of wind turbines in that area. They saw about 30 Golden Eagles, and caught two Red Tail Hawks. He had a really fun time.

Thank YOU!

Jon and I are finished with our YES program, and are back in Reading, PA. We want you all to know that we couldn't have done this term with out you all. Your support and prayers have been more than anything we could of ask for. We know there were distinct times that we could feel your prayers or see your prayers at work. PRAISE GOD!! Thank you for the encouragment to push on when times were hard. Being in Bolivia was such a blessing, we miss it a lot. The kids, our friends and family were so special to us down there. But now we are excited to spend time with our friends and family back here in the states.

Currently Jon and I are not sure what is next. We are staying with Jon's family until our house is ready. We are looking for jobs, and looking to buy a car. We are also just trying to relax and soak up all that has happened to us in the past 11 months!

Thank you all for all you have done. Each one of you are so special to us, THANK YOU!

This is our house that we trained and re-entered in! Harrisburg Discipleship Center. This house holds many good memories for us.

Teesha and I wearing our Blooming Jerseys. We are actually Oreinte fans, but we liked these jerseys better! : )

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JON! We brought this back from Bolivia for Jon, he loves these blankets and was very excited to have one of his own.

Jon's Chocolate cake, literally, its solid Hershey's Chocolate. It was very yummy!

Our last team picture together. Shelly had gone home a bit early and so we took one of the rest of us. It was a bittersweet moment, to say goodbye for the first time since January. But we all know that we will see each other agian....so that helps make the goodbye not so tuff! We love you girls, Jamie, Teesha and Shelly! Thanks for making this year a blessing for us!

Team prayer, how beautiful! Ryan Showalter praying over our team at an EMM chapel.

We wouldn't trade this year for anything!

Here us girls are goofing around. Shelly wasn't feeling good, so she wasn't able to come along.

Our Bolivian Dinner

Que Rico!
We made way to much, but it was definitly really good we had lots of people to help eat it. We made Piqui Macho, which has fresh cut french fries, layed with Saugage or hot dogs, tomatoes, peppers and onions. It was so good!

We were teaching the new Bolivian team how to make some traditional meals. So we made cunape (cun- ya- pey) , which takes forever to make, but they are really good. Its a lot of fresh cheese, mixed with Yuca flour, and then some milk to help it mix together. They were really good!

Trying to blend it all together. My wrists were sore by the end of the night!

Janae and I at HDC

The Last picture before Janae left to fly to Germany till July!

Family

Jon and I went to see my family on Wednesday right after we got back. Janae, was leaving for Germany on a YES team, and so we wanted to have the whole family together one last time with her. It was a good night to be together agian. My nephews grew so much! David the baby, didn't even know who we were, so he played shy all night.

And US!

Home Agian!

This picture was taken at the airport before we drove back to HDC. Teesha's family decorated their van for us. They made signs for us too, but they didnt see us coming thru the airport, and so we surprised them instead of them surprising us. It was funny. There was lots of hugs, and joy that night. We were very happy to be off the plane and be in Pennsylvania agian. And we got to celebrate Teesha's birthday when we got back to HDC, with cake and Ice cream.
